  • Glaze: 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla extract.
  3. Gradually mix in dry ingredients until a soft dough forms.
  4. In a small bowl, combine filling ingredients.
  5. Scoop dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Press a shallow indent into each cookie and fill with cinnamon sugar mixture.
  6. Bake at 350F (175C) for 10-12 minutes until edges are set.
  7. Cool cookies completely.
  8. Whisk glaze ingredients and drizzle over cooled cookies. Let set before serving.

  • No chilling is required for this dough, but chilling 15-20 minutes can help if dough is very soft.
