Ingredients

  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp red chili flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (halal-certified)
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine in salted water according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika. Sauté until golden and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, melt butter. Add garlic, red chili flakes, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and chopped parsley. Stir and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the cream and parmesan cheese. Stir until smooth and slightly thickened.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet, then add cooked linguine. Toss everything together until coated in the cowboy butter sauce.
  6. Serve hot with extra parsley or cheese on top if desired.

  • Worcestershire sauce used is halal-certified.
  • Adjust red chili flakes to taste for heat.
  • For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
