Description
Cranberry Cream Cheese Crescent Bites are flaky crescent rolls filled with creamy cheese and cranberry, ideal for holidays and gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can crescent roll dough (8-count)
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup cranberry sauce or jam (homemade or canned, halal-friendly)
- Optional: orange zest, chopped pecans, or cinnamon sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
- Place about 1 tsp cream cheese mixture in the center of each triangle, then top with 1 tsp cranberry sauce.
- Fold the corners of each triangle inward, pinching edges lightly to seal (they don’t have to be perfect—rustic is fine!).
- Optionally, sprinkle with orange zest, chopped pecans, or cinnamon sugar for added flavor.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
- Let cool slightly and serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
- Best served warm; reheat gently if making ahead.
- For a tangier bite, use cranberry sauce with a touch of tartness.
- To keep shapes neat, chill the assembled bites for 15 minutes before baking.
