Ingredients

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1½ cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 115 g cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 500 g potato gnocchi
  • ½ cup chopped turkey bacon (halal)
  • ½ cup chopped spinach (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Stir in turkey bacon and cook until slightly crispy.
  3. Add chicken, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and cream. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Add cream cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  6. Mix in mozzarella and gnocchi. Cover and cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until gnocchi is tender and sauce thickens.
  7. Stir in spinach (if using), and cook another minute until wilted.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use half-and-half or milk and reduce cheese amounts.
  • Substitute pancetta or regular bacon if turkey bacon is not available.
  • Use store-bought rotisserie chicken to save time.
