- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup diced dill pickles
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 12 egg roll wrappers
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
- Stir ketchup and mustard into the beef and remove from heat. Let cool slightly.
- Add shredded cheddar cheese and diced pickles to the beef mixture and stir to combine.
- Place an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface. Spoon filling into the center.
- Fold in sides and roll tightly, sealing edges with a little water.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry egg rolls in batches for 3–4 minutes, turning until golden and crispy.
- Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve warm.

- For a lighter option, bake at 425°F (220°C) for 15–20 minutes, flipping once until golden.
- Air frying: Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 8–10 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Use 80/20 ground beef for juicier filling; avoid overfilling to prevent leaking.
