Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a skillet, sauté onion, garlic, and mushrooms until softened.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked wild rice, shredded chicken, sautéed vegetables, chicken broth, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, cheese, thyme, parsley, pepper, and salt.
- Mix until fully combined, then spread evenly in the baking dish.
- Add breadcrumb topping if desired.
- Bake 45–50 minutes or until bubbly and lightly golden.
- Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
