  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 12 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
  • Creamy Layer:
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Topping:
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef with onion and garlic until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, pepper, and salt. Simmer 5 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta, sour cream, mozzarella, and Parmesan until smooth.
  5. Assemble lasagna: spread a thin layer of meat sauce, add noodles, spread creamy mixture, then more meat sauce.
  6. Repeat layers, finishing with meat sauce and mozzarella on top.
