- 1 tsp olive oil
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- Optional: sesame seeds or chopped parsley for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat and let cool slightly.
- Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
- Spoon cooked beef onto the wide end of each triangle and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
- Roll up dough starting from the wide end and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning.
- Brush garlic butter generously over each rollup.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Sprinkle with optional toppings and serve warm.
Notes
- You can use lean ground beef for less fat.
- For extra zing, add a dash of Worcestershire sauce to the beef.
- Best served warm the same day, but refrigerate leftovers up to 2 days.
- If you want spicier rolls, add red pepper flakes to the garlic butter.
