Description

Garlic Butter Beef Cheeseburger Rollups are a crowd-pleasing, kid-friendly main or appetizer that comes together in minutes. Juicy ground beef seasoned with garlic and onion, melted cheddar, and a buttery garlic glaze are wrapped in crescent dough and baked until golden. Each bite delivers bold cheeseburger flavor with a silky garlic butter finish. Perfect for weeknights, game days, or easy dinners, and freezer friendly for busy families.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Optional: sesame seeds or chopped parsley for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat and let cool slightly.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  4. Spoon cooked beef onto the wide end of each triangle and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
  5. Roll up dough starting from the wide end and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  6. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning.
  7. Brush garlic butter generously over each rollup.
  8. Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Sprinkle with optional toppings and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can use lean ground beef for less fat.
  • For extra zing, add a dash of Worcestershire sauce to the beef.
  • Best served warm the same day, but refrigerate leftovers up to 2 days.
  • If you want spicier rolls, add red pepper flakes to the garlic butter.
  • If crescent dough isn’t available, substitute with puff pastry and adjust bake time accordingly.
