  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1–2 minutes until bubbling but not browned.
  4. Slowly whisk in milk and cream. Simmer until thickened, about 5 minutes.
  5. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir in cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan until melted and smooth.
  6. Combine pasta with the cheese sauce and mix well. Pour into the baking dish.
  7. In a bowl, mix panko with melted butter, paprika, and parmesan. Sprinkle evenly over the pasta.
  8. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden and bubbling. Let sit 5 minutes before serving.
