  • 56 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp dried parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: sliced green onions for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef with onion and garlic until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Season beef with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  4. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the baking dish. Top with half of the beef mixture.
  5. Repeat layers with remaining potatoes and beef.
  6. Whisk cream of mushroom soup with beef broth and pour evenly over the casserole.
  7. Cover tightly with foil and bake 45 minutes.
  8. Remove foil, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake another 15–20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
