Halloween Eyeball Jello Shots: A spooky, halal-friendly fruity treat that’s perfect for Halloween parties.
Ingredients

- 1 box (3 oz) strawberry or cherry flavored gelatin mix (halal-certified)
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1/2 cup fruit juice (apple or white grape)
- 12 small round gummy candies (halal) or lychee fruit halves
- 12 blueberries or black grapes (for pupils)
- Optional: whipped cream for serving
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, dissolve the gelatin mix in boiling water and stir until fully dissolved.
- Add cold water and fruit juice, then stir to combine. Let cool slightly.
- Pour mixture into small plastic cups or silicone molds, filling each about 3/4 full.
- Chill for 20–25 minutes until slightly thickened but not fully set.
- Gently press one lychee half or gummy candy on top of each jello shot. Place a blueberry or grape in the center to make an eyeball.
- Return to the fridge and chill until fully firm, about 2–3 hours.
- Serve chilled, with a dollop of whipped cream if desired for extra spookiness.
Notes
- Use halal-certified gelatin to keep the recipe halal.
- For a vegan version, substitute gelatin with agar-agar according to package directions.
- Lychee halves can be substituted with halal gummy candies if lychee isn’t available.
- Chill times are approximate; fridge temperature may affect setting time.
