Herb and Cheese Stuffed Puff Pastry Bites are flaky, golden pastries filled with a creamy herby cheese blend—perfect party appetizers.

- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, shredded cheese, Parmesan, parsley, thyme, garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into 12 equal squares.
- Place about 1 tsp of filling in the center of each square. Fold over into triangles and press edges to seal with a fork.
- Beat egg and brush over the tops for a golden finish.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown. Cool slightly and serve warm.
Notes
- You can substitute mozzarella with cheddar for a sharper flavor.
- Assemble and refrigerate up to 2 hours before baking for quick party bites.
- To freeze, assemble on a baking sheet and freeze unbaked; transfer to an airtight container and bake from frozen for 18–20 minutes.
- If you don’t have parchment, lightly grease the baking sheet.
