Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 12 oz turkey sausage, sliced into rounds
  • 3 cups broccoli florets

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 3 tbsp gluten free soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced turkey sausage and cook 3–4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and broccoli with bell pepper. Cook 4–5 minutes until tender-crisp. Remove and set aside with sausage.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink and just cooked through.
  4. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, gluten free soy sauce, lemon juice, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Pour into the skillet.
  6. Add the cornstarch mixture and simmer 1–2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
