Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup smoked beef, chopped
  • 1/2 cup grape juice

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture and vegetable oil. Mix until combined.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Incorporate chopped smoked beef and grape juice, kneading until evenly distributed.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place it in a greased loaf pan.
