Mummy Dogs Halloween Hot Dog Mummies – a fun, crispy Halloween snack where halal hot dogs are wrapped in crescent dough to resemble mummies.

- 1 can Pillsbury crescent roll dough (or puff pastry)
- 8 halal hot dogs
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Black sesame seeds, black olives, or mustard (for eyes)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent dough and pinch seams together to form one sheet. Cut into thin strips, about 1/4 inch wide.
- Wrap each hot dog with dough strips, leaving a gap near the top for the face.
- Place wrapped dogs on the baking sheet. Beat the egg and brush lightly over the dough for golden crispiness.
- Bake for 13–15 minutes or until dough is puffed and golden.
- Add eyes using dots of mustard, black sesame seeds, or small olive pieces.
- Serve warm with ketchup, mustard, or spooky dipping sauces!
Notes
- You can use Pillsbury crescent roll dough or puff pastry to wrap the hot dogs.
- Leave a small gap at the top for the face so it looks like a mummy.
- Brush with egg wash before baking for a golden crust.
