Description
Oreo Eyeball Truffles – Creepy, creamy Oreo truffles with a spooky eyeball topping for Halloween.
Ingredients
Scale
- 24 Oreo cookies (cream-filled, crushed)
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup white chocolate chips (halal-certified)
- 1 tsp coconut oil (optional, for smoother coating)
- Candy eyes or mini M&M’s + edible marker
- Red gel icing or strawberry sauce (for veins, optional)
Instructions
- Place Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs form.
- Mix in cream cheese until fully combined into a sticky dough.
- Scoop and roll into 1-inch balls. Place on a lined tray and freeze for 15–20 minutes.
- Melt white chocolate and coconut oil in the microwave in 20-second bursts, stirring until smooth.
- Dip chilled Oreo balls in white chocolate using a fork or skewer. Let excess drip off and place back on the tray.
- While still wet, gently press a candy eye (or M&M with edible marker dot) on top.
- Once set, use red gel icing or sauce to draw veins for a bloodshot look if desired.
- Chill until firm and keep refrigerated until serving.
Notes
- For best results, use halal-certified white chocolate chips.
- Chill the balls before dipping to ensure clean coatings.
- Eye decorations can be candy eyes or M&M’s with an edible marker dot.
- Store refrigerated; they firm up when cold.
