Ideal for cozy weeknights, casual dinners, or party bites, these melts satisfy cravings with warm, seafood-forward goodness in every bite, and they’re easily customizable with extra cheese, herbs, or hot sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated large biscuits
  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 1 cup cooked crab meat, drained and flaked
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Separate biscuits and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each slightly with your hand.
  3. In a bowl, combine cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth.
  4. Stir in chopped shrimp, crab meat, mozzarella, cheddar, green onions, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.
  5. Spoon the seafood mixture evenly over each biscuit.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until biscuits are golden and topping is hot and bubbly.
  7. Broil for 1–2 minutes at the end if you want a more golden top.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, use room-temperature cream cheese to blend smoothly.
  • Want extra cheesiness? Double the cheese amounts or add an extra tablespoon of mozzarella on top.
  • Can be assembled ahead; refrigerate the assembled melts up to 2 hours before baking.
  • Serve with lemon wedges or hot sauce for a bright contrast.
