Description

Soft Pretzel Bites: Golden, chewy, and perfectly salted—these soft pretzel bites are quick to make from biscuit dough and perfect for dipping.


Ingredients

  • 1 tube refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count)
  • 6 cups water
  • ¼ cup baking soda
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Coarse sea salt, for topping
  • Optional for dipping: Cheese sauce, mustard, or marinara

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut each biscuit into 4 equal pieces and roll each into a small ball.
  3. In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil. Carefully stir in baking soda (it will bubble).
  4. Working in batches, boil dough balls for 30 seconds. Remove with a slotted spoon and place on baking sheet.
  5. Brush each piece with beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse salt.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and slightly crisp on the outside.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes
