Description

Tender Steak Bites in Garlic Butter with Creamy Parmesan Sauce is a weeknight winner that delivers restaurant-worthy flavor in under 25 minutes. Golden-seared steak bites (sirloin, ribeye, or tenderloin) are bathed in fragrant garlic butter and finished with a luxuriously creamy Parmesan sauce. A handful of pantry staples comes together quickly, producing a rich, comforting dish that pairs beautifully with mashed potatoes, pasta, or rice for cozy family dinners or entertaining guests. Effortless, versatile and deeply satisfying.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs steak (sirloin, ribeye, or tenderloin), cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • Optional: chopped parsley or chili flakes

Instructions

  1. Pat steak bites dry and season well with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add half the steak bites and sear 1–2 minutes per side until browned. Remove and repeat with the remaining steak.
  3. Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the skillet. Once melted, stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in beef broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  5. Add Parmesan and cook 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens and becomes silky.
  6. Return steak bites to the skillet and toss in the creamy garlic Parmesan sauce.
  7. Garnish with parsley or chili flakes and serve warm with mashed potatoes, pasta, or rice.

Notes

  • You can use sirloin, ribeye, or tenderloin for varying fat and tenderness.
  • If the sauce thickens too quickly, thin with a splash of broth or cream.
  • For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, pasta, or rice to soak up the sauce.
  • Leftovers refrigerate well for up to 3 days; reheat gently.
