- 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 cups cooked turkey, shredded or chopped
- ½ cup whole cranberry sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese
- ¼ cup cream cheese, softened
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll crescent dough and separate triangles. Arrange them in a circle on the sheet with the wide ends overlapping in the center and tips pointing outward (like a sunburst).
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, garlic powder, and black pepper. Spread a thin layer of this mixture over the overlapping dough area.
- Layer the turkey evenly around the ring, then spoon cranberry sauce over the turkey.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the cranberry layer.
- Fold triangle tips over the filling and tuck under the center to form a ring.
- Brush the top with beaten egg.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before slicing. Garnish with parsley if desired.
Notes
- You can substitute mozzarella with Monterey Jack cheese.
- To make ahead, assemble the ring up to the egg wash, wrap and refrigerate, then bake before serving.
- Ensure the ring is sealed well by tucking the ends under the center to prevent filling from leaking.
- Leftovers can be reheated in a 350°F oven for a few minutes.
