Description

Turkey Cranberry Crescent Ring: A festive, crowd-pleasing appetizer loaded with juicy turkey, tart cranberry, and melty cheese baked into a sunburst crescent ring.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 cups cooked turkey, shredded or chopped
  • ½ cup whole cranberry sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese
  • ¼ cup cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll crescent dough and separate triangles. Arrange them in a circle on the sheet with the wide ends overlapping in the center and tips pointing outward (like a sunburst).
  3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, garlic powder, and black pepper. Spread a thin layer of this mixture over the overlapping dough area.
  4. Layer the turkey evenly around the ring, then spoon cranberry sauce over the turkey.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the cranberry layer.
  6. Fold triangle tips over the filling and tuck under the center to form a ring.
  7. Brush the top with beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before slicing. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

  • You can substitute mozzarella with Monterey Jack cheese.
  • To make ahead, assemble the ring up to the egg wash, wrap and refrigerate, then bake before serving.
  • Ensure the ring is sealed well by tucking the ends under the center to prevent filling from leaking.
