- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning

- Salt to taste
- Topping:
- 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs (or plain breadcrumbs + 1 tsp Italian seasoning)
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella (extra for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease an 8×8 or 9×9-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, marinara sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, pepper, and salt.
- Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan until evenly combined.
- Spread mixture into the baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs with melted butter. Sprinkle over the casserole.
- Top with extra mozzarella.
- Bake 25–30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
- Let rest 5 minutes before serving. Add fresh basil or parsley if desired.
