- 1 box frozen pierogies (potato or potato-cheese)
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp dried parsley
- Salt to taste
- Optional: sliced green onions for topping
Instructions
- Spray the inside of your crockpot with nonstick spray.
- Layer half the frozen pierogies on the bottom.
- Add half the sliced turkey kielbasa and half the onions.
- Repeat layers with remaining pierogies, kielbasa, and onions.
- In a bowl, whisk together sour cream, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, garlic, paprika, pepper, parsley, and salt.
- Pour the sauce evenly over the casserole.
- Top with cheddar cheese.
- Cover and cook on low for 3–3½ hours or until pierogies are tender and everything is creamy and hot.
- Garnish with green onions before serving.
